Halfway to Halloween Returns to Chukchansi Park May 24 & 25

FRESNO, Calif. - The fifth Fresno Grizzlies homestand of the 2018 season is scheduled for May 21 through May 29 with nine games against the Reno Aces (Arizona Diamondbacks) and El Paso Chihuahuas (San Diego Padres). Tickets may be purchased at the Chukchansi Park box office, or anytime at FresnoGrizzlies.com, starting as low as $10. Here is a preview of the promotional schedule:

Monday, May 21 (6:35 p.m.) - Monday Madness, presented by The Fresno Bee: The best ticket deal in Minor League Baseball is back! Fans can take advantage of two Reserved tickets, two hot dogs, two sodas, two Fresno Chaffee Zoo vouchers and two Pieology pizza or salad vouchers, all for just $25!

Tuesday, May 22 (6:35 p.m.) & May 29 (11:05 a.m.) - Toyota Taco Tuesday: The Grizzlies' alter-ego, the Fresno Tacos, will take the field. In addition to 2-for-1 field box and club tickets, fans will be able to enjoy $2 tacos from Taco Truck Throwdown-approved trucks and "Oppo Taco" on the right field concourse at Chukchansi Park, $2 sodas and $2 churros (specials good through the fifth inning). The team will be wearing the "Taco-uila" sunrise uniforms which first debuted at last season's Taco Truck Throwdown; a zesty tribute to the Grizzlies' parent club, the 2017 World Champion Houston Astros.

Dos Equis | Dos Tacos: Purchase a 24-oz Dos Equis can and receive a voucher for two FREE tacos from one of the trucks.

Wednesday, May 23 (11:05 a.m.) - Valley Children's Wins-Day: Please show your support for Valley Children's Hospital by purchasing walk-up tickets at the box office on each Wednesday home game for the remainder of the 2018 season; $1 from every day-of-game ticket purchased for Wednesday games will be donated to the hospital.

Wear The Bear Wednesday: Stock-up on fresh Fresno Grizzlies and Fresno Tacos gear for the season; new-for-2018 merchandise is available. Fans will enjoy an automatic 25% off their in-game purchase in the Fresno Grizzlies Team Store on Wednesdays in 2018.

Making The Grade, presented by Fresno County Department of Public Health, Tobacco Prevention Program: Over 5,000 kids will enjoy this game thanks to the sponsor, for a job well-done this school year!

Thursday, May 24 & Friday, May 25 (7:05 p.m.) - Halfway To Halloween presented by Party City: The two-night event is back for a fourth season! The in-ballpark haunted house will again be set up on the third base/left field side of Chukchansi Park (Tecate Cantina). Trick-or-treating stations will be throughout the ballpark for the kids, and anyone 12 and under that comes in a Halloween costume will receive a free ticket to either Thursday or Friday's game!

This year's theme for one of the most popular promos on the calendar is "Nightmare Before Grizzmas," with the uniforms to match! (See attached image.) The Grizzlies will wear these special Tim Burton-inspired jerseys and caps on the field, and fans will have the opportunity to bid on their favorite player's game-worn gear in a silent auction during Friday's game. Winners will get their autographed jersey right off the player's back following the game.

Thursday Happy Hour Special: The best food deal in Triple-A is back for 2018! At every Thursday home game from gates open (6:05 p.m.) to first pitch, fans can order a burger, fries and a 12-ounce beer or soda for just FIVE DOLLARS.

Friday Night Fireworks: Another post-game fireworks spectacular will wrap up the Halfway to Halloween festivities, presented by Golden State Farm Credit.

Saturday, May 26 (7:05 p.m.) - Rib Throwdown: Who makes the best rack of ribs in the Central Valley? This is the night we find out! In the proud tradition of Chukchansi Park food throwdowns, fans will be able to sample ribs from all the individuals competing, and entry into the competition is still open, for a cash prize. Sunday, May 27 (1:05 p.m.) - Save Mart Sundays: Fans should bring their Save Mart receipt or show the Save Mart app at the ticket office to receive $5 off each ticket in their purchase (limit eight tickets). A pre-game autograph session will feature two Grizzlies players, and Kids Run the Bases post-game.

Bark in the Park: It's our second dog-friendly event of the season, where one (1) well-mannered four-legged friend will be admitted per ticket on Sunday 5/27. (Signing a waiver may be required.)

Sunday Brunch: All-you-can eat brunch passes (11:30 to 1:30, Marmalade Party Deck, includes game ticket) are available at the ticket office. Price is 31.99 (15.99 for season-ticket holders), and a 39.99 ticket includes unlimited mimosas and Bloody Mary bar from 11:30 a.m. to the end of the fifth inning (24.99 for season-ticket holders). Each brunch pass includes a free Grizzlies cap, along with the game ticket. The menu includes pancakes, eggs, ham, and chorizo sausage fajitas and sliders!
