Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers wrap up their four-game series against the El Paso Chihuahuas, as well as ¡Celebración Cielo Azul!, at 7:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Chihuahuas lead the series, 3-0, and the Dodgers will try to avoid their second four-game series sweep at home this season. OKC has not been swept in multiple four-game home series since 2011.
Last Game: A two-run, two-out, pinch-hit double by Diego Goris capped a three-run sixth inning for El Paso, and the Dodgers were held without a run after the second inning in a 4-2 loss Sunday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Dodgers starting pitcher Daniel Corcino walked the bases full with none out to open the first inning, but escaped the jam with two strikeouts and a flyout. In the bottom of the inning, Edwin RÃos homered out to left field to put the Dodgers in front, 1-0. The Chihuahuas tied the game in their next at-bat on a two-out RBI single by Forrestt Allday. OKC regained the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the second inning on a RBI double by Tim Locastro. El Paso then scored three runs in the sixth, all with two outs. Dusty Coleman lined a RBI single into left field to tie the game. Goris followed and hit a fly ball to the warning track in right field that hit off Kyle Garlick's glove and landed for a double, allowing two runs to score for a 4-2 lead. The Chihuahuas did not allow a run after the second inning and the El Paso bullpen held the Dodgers to one hit over the final four frames. Rowan Wick retired the side in order in the ninth to pick up his first save. El Paso starting pitcher Dillon Overton (4-2) was credited with the win, allowing two runs and eight hits over 5.0 innings. He did not issue a walk and had three strikeouts. Corcino allowed one unearned run and two hits over 5.0 innings. Dodgers reliever Adam Liberatore (2-2) allowed all three runs in the sixth and was charged with the loss.
