Bees Host Transplant Games Members & Eric Byrnes

SALT LAKE CITY - The Salt Lake Bees will host members of the Utah-Idaho Transplant Games team and MLB Network analyst and outfielder Eric Byrnes tonight.
WHAT: The Salt Lake Bees host the Nashville Sounds
WHEN: Monday, July 30
Gates open at 6 p.m. with first pitch at 7:05 p.m.

DETAILS: More than 30 members of Team Utah Idaho, including young children who received organ transplants, will join the Salt Lake Bees to watch batting practice and meet the team. The Bees will also sign the Transplant Games of America flag, which has been touring Utah leading up to the games that start in Salt Lake on Aug. 3. The first pitch will be thrown by Malissa Zoglman, a military veteran and liver transplant recipient from Team Utah Idaho, who will compete in the 2018 Donate Life Transplant Games of America. Prior to the first pitch, MLB Networks analyst Eric Byrnes will present a check to the Bees for their RBI baseball league. Byrnes has been participating in a triathlon across the country to promote physical education for youth.
Other activities for the night include Bumble's Birthday Party, presented by Chartway Federal Credit Union and Smith's Family Night with four tickets and four hot dogs for $20 available at www.slbees.com.
