Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers seek a fourth straight win as they take the field at 7:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark as Cielo Azul de Oklahoma City against Los Chihuahuas de El Paso. To kick off the second ¡Celebración Cielo Azul! of the season, a mariachi band will perform throughout the night and fireworks, presented by Supermercados Morelos, are scheduled to follow the game. Tonight's game will be televised live on YurView on Cox (Channel 1333) for all Cox cable subscribers, beginning five minutes before first pitch.
Last Game: Dodgers pitcher Brock Stewart held Albuquerque without a hit through six innings and the Dodgers scored three late runs on the way to a 4-1 win Thursday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Stewart held the Isotopes to one run and two hits total over a season-high 7.0 innings, with two walks and seven strikeouts. He did not allow a run or hit until the seventh inning. Ariel Hernandez (3-2) followed with a scoreless eighth inning to record the win. Pat Venditte retired all three batters he faced in the ninth for his third save, as OKC held the Isotopes to three hits. The Dodgers broke a scoreless tie in the fifth inning. Angelo Mora led off with a single. Jake Peter followed and singled into center field, and David Dahl committed a two-base fielding error, allowing Mora to score. In the seventh, Ryan McMahon lined a single into right field to lead off the inning for Albuquerque's first hit of the night. He stole second base and came around to score on a two-out single by Shawn O'Malley to tie the game, 1-1. With two outs in the eighth, Connor Joe hit a RBI double to put the Dodgers in the lead, 2-1. Later with the bases loaded, Peter hit a two-run single into center field for a 4-1 OKC advantage. Albuquerque reliever Keith Hessler (3-2) was charged with the loss, allowing three runs in the eighth inning.
Today's Probable Pitcher: Zach Neal (2-1) makes his fifth start of the season tonight for OKC...Neal was charged with the loss in his last outing July 21 in Nashville during the second game of a doubleheader, as the Dodgers were blanked, 4-0. He allowed three runs and three hits over 4.0 innings with three walks and six strikeouts. It marked the first time in over three years Neal walked three batters in one game...Neal returned to OKC following a four-player trade with Cincinnati July 4. Since rejoining the team, Neal has allowed five earned runs and 12 hits over 15.2 innings while holding opponents to a .211 average...He also made two starts with OKC in April before an April 17 trade sent him to Cincinnati. Neal then made 18 appearances (three starts) with Triple-A Louisville...In games with OKC, Neal has held his opponents to a .221 batting average overall and 2-for-22 with runners in scoring position...In 2017, Neal made six relief appearances during two stints with Oakland, and spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Nashville...Tonight is Neal's fifth career start against the Chihuahuas, having previously faced them with Nashville (2015-16) and Sacramento (2014). He's gone 2-1 with a 3.66 ERA over the first four outings. Neal most recently started against El Paso while with Nashville July 16, 2016. He allowed three runs and eight hits over 5.0 innings and picked up the win.

El Paso comes to OKC for the lone series of the season between the teams...The Dodgers won the 2017 season series in El Paso, 3-1. The Chihuahuas won the first game before OKC closed out the series with three straight wins, including one-run victories in the last two meetings...Alex Verdugo batted .444 in the series, going a team-best 8-for-18 with six runs scored and three RBI...In El Paso's last regular-season visit to Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark Aug. 12-15, 2016, the Dodgers swept the four-game in dominant fashion, outscoring the Chihuahuas, 33-9, while batting .345 in the series...However, during the rematch between the teams in the PCL Championship Series, the Chihuahuas took the crown, 3-1...This marks the fifth regular-season series between the teams after Tucson's franchise relocated to El Paso for the 2014 season. OKC is 10-6 against the Chihuahuas during the regular season and owns a 2-0-2 series record...Dodgers catcher Rocky Gale spent parts of four seasons playing for El Paso (2014-17) and logged 326 career games as a Chihuahua.
Pitching Prowess: During their recently competed three-game sweep of the Albuquerque Isotopes, the Dodgers held Albuquerque to two total runs and 17 total hits over 27 innings. It included a stretch of 23 consecutive scoreless innings and a 5-0 shutout Wednesday night. OKC then held Albuquerque to three hits Thursday, tying OKC's season low. The Isotopes hit two doubles in the series overall and were held without an extra-base hit last night. They batted .175 (17x97) in the series and were held 3-for-19 (.158) with runners in scoring position. The Isotopes entered the series ranked second in the PCL in both batting average and runs scored...The Dodgers have now held their opponent to one or no runs four times in the last six games...The Dodgers have allowed two or fewer extra-base hits in 11 of the last 12 games, including two total to begin the homestand. Additionally, the team has not allowed a home run in eight straight games at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
Dominant Donovan: Since returning from the Disabled List July 15, Donovan Solano is batting .424 (14x33) with 10 RBI and five runs scored over nine games. He's recorded four multi-hit outings, including three games with three or more hits. Last night he went 3-for-4 with a run scored...The team is 8-1 when he's been in the lineup since coming off the DL...In 47 games overall with OKC, Solano is batting .380 (68x179) with 12 doubles, three homers, 31 RBI and 25 runs.
For Whom the Bell Toles: Andrew Toles picked up another hit last night and has now hit safely in eight straight PCL games, dating back to July 7. During the eight-game stretch, he is 13-for-32 (.406) with three RBI, a homer and five runs scored...Through 40 games total with OKC, Toles is batting .335 (54x161) with 16 XBH, 23 RBI and 27 runs scored.
Farm to Plate: Kyle Farmer has hit safely in 10 of his last 12 games, batting .348 (16x46) with seven doubles, a homer, nine RBI and six runs scored. He paces the Dodgers with 24 hits in July (19 games) and 11 of those hits have gone for extra bases.
Along the RÃos Grande: Edwin RÃos went 2-for-4 with a run scored last night for his second straight multi-hit outing. He is batting .311 this month and leads the squad with both 17 RBI and 14 runs scored in July.
Around the Horn: The Dodgers are in a stretch of 14 straight games against Pacific Conference opponents. They are 11-6 against Pacific Conference teams so far in 2018, including 7-3 at home...Tim Locastro has 13 hits and 13 runs scored over 12 games since coming off the Disabled List...Henry Ramos has hit safely in six of his last seven games, and in eight of his last 10 games with an at-bat, going 11-for-30 (.367)...Jake Peter went 2-for-4 with two RBI last night, marking his first multi-hit game since July 14 and just his second multi-RBI game since May 22...The Dodgers have won back-to-back series openers and are 13-13 in the first game of a series this season, including 7-6 at home. The team has not won three consecutive series openers since May 4...Last night was OKC's 15th last at-bat win of the season.
