New Orleans, LA - The Aces stole the series finale against the New Orleans Baby Cakes Thursday night in extra innings. The Aces entered the top of the 9th inning down by one run and Socrates Brito set to leadoff. Brito gave Reno a glimmer of home with a double into center field. He advanced to third base on a throwing error by New Orleans center fielder Isaac Galloway. Jack Reinheimer scored Brito in the following at-bat with a deep sacrifice fly ball to right field to tie the game at six. Jake Buchanan tossed a scoreless bottom half to give Reno a chance in extra innings. Cesar Puello began the top of the 10th inning on second base, per the new Minor League Baseball rules. Kristopher Negron was hit-by-pitch to put runners on first and second with no outs. Newcomer Alberto Rosario put down a perfect sacrifice bunt to move each runner up 90 feet.
