OKLAHOMA CITY - After the Oklahoma City Dodgers wrap up their 2018 baseball season, monster trucks and bull riders will take over Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark for two days this fall as the TRAXXAS Monster Truck Tour and LJ Jenkins Bull Riding Tour descend on Bricktown Saturday, Sept. 22 and Sunday, Sept. 23, the Dodgers announced today.

For the first time ever at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, 10,000-pound monster trucks, such as Skully, X-MAXX and Monster Patrol, will compete in racing and wheelie contests before wowing the crowd with freestyle action. In addition, bull riders and American Bucking Bulls will take the field in bull team competition eight seconds at a time.

Tickets start at just $10 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3. Tickets will be available at MonsterTruckTour.com. A presale for OKC Dodgers season ticket holders begins at 10 a.m. Monday, July 30.

Pit Party Passes will also be available for purchase, allowing fans exclusive access to monster truck drivers and bull riders for autographs and photos with the monster trucks.

Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark is able to host this unique event because during the upcoming offseason the stadium's playing surface will be replaced for the first time since the ballpark opened in 1998, allowing a rare opportunity to host such an event.

The OKC Dodgers are currently in the midst of a homestand at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and begin the second ¡Celebración Cielo Azul! of the season against Los Chihuahuas de El Paso at 7:05 p.m. A mariachi band will perform throughout the night and fireworks, presented by Supermercados Morelos, are scheduled to follow tonight's game.

¡Celebración Cielo Azul! continues through Monday, and in addition to the players and coaches wearing Cielo Azul uniforms on the field, new specialty foods will be available at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, such as a pambazo sandwich, chorizo fries, chorizo sausage, chicharrones nachos, empanadas platter, pinchos, elotes and sopapillas. Latin music and a bilingual environment will enhance the gameday experience for fans.

On Saturday, the Xpogo Stunt Team will perform during the 7:05 p.m. game, presented by Okie 811. The extreme pogo riders will display a thrilling blend of athleticism and entertainment throughout the night. Folkloric dancers will perform and a silent auction for players' and coaches' game-worn Cielo Azul jerseys will be held during the game to benefit the OKC Dodgers Baseball Foundation and Latino Community Development Agency.

Sunday's 6:05 p.m. game falls on a Chaparral Energy Family Sunday, featuring pregame player autographs, a mascot meet-and-greet, face painters, inflatables and postgame kids run the bases. Folkloric dancers are also scheduled to perform throughout the evening. The series wraps up at 7:05 p.m. Monday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Tickets are available through the OKC Dodgers ticket office located on South Mickey Mantle Drive, by phone at (405) 218-2182, or by visiting okcdodgers.com.
