Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers try to take a 3-0 lead in their road series against the Memphis Redbirds at 7:05 p.m. at AutoZone Park. The Dodgers have won each of the first two games by one run and all five of OKC's runs have come via solo home runs.

Last Game: The Dodgers hit three solo home runs and won another tightly-contested, low-scoring game over Memphis, 3-2, Wednesday night at AutoZone Park. For the second straight game, Darnell Sweeney went deep in the third inning, and his solo shot to left-center field gave OKC a 1-0 lead. With one out in the fifth inning, Andy Wilkins and Kyle Jensen hit back-to-back home runs to extend the lead to 3-0. Wilkins planted his dinger in the right field porch, and Jensen sent a booming shot to the top of the bluff in left field. In the bottom of the fifth inning, Stephen Piscotty hit a sacrifice fly for Memphis to make it 3-1. Tommy Pham connected on a solo homer in the eighth inning to pull Memphis within one run. Dodgers reliever Josh Ravin (SV, 3) closed out the game in the ninth and stranded the tying run at third base to end the game. Making his third start on rehab assignment, Brandon Beachy (1-0) went a season-high five innings. He allowed one run and six hits, with three walks and one strikeout. Memphis starter Nick Greenwood (6-3) used just 70 pitches to get through seven innings. The lefty allowed three homers to match his season total entering Wednesday. He finished with two strikeouts and no walks.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Ian Thomas (3-1) looks to get back on the winning track after suffering his first loss of the season with OKC in his last outing...Thomas pitched Saturday in Nashville and was hit with the loss, allowing seven runs (six earned) and eight hits over 3.1 innings. He issued two walks and struck out five...Thomas spent June 22-25 with Los Angeles, but did not make an appearance. He was optioned back to OKC on June 26 when Pedro Baez was activated off the Disabled List...Thomas was acquired by the Dodgers as part of a six-player trade with the Atlanta Braves May 27. Traditionally a relief pitcher throughout his career, Thomas has been moved into the starting rotation since joining OKC, and team won in each of his first three starts. Today will be just his 22nd career start out of 115 career appearances...Prior to the trade, Thomas made a combined 14 appearances within the Braves organization between Atlanta, Triple-A Gwinnett, and Double-A Mississippi. He allowed a total of three runs (two earned) and nine hits over 21.0 IP...Tonight marks his first career appearance against Memphis.

Against the Redbirds: 2015: 5-1 2014: 10-6 All-time: 147-132 In MEM: 61-79

Prior to 2013, OKC had not finished a season with a winning record in the Bluff City since 1999.

Victory Lane: The league-leading Dodgers have won three of their last four games and have tied their season best record at 24 games above .500. However, each of the past three times they've reached that mark, they've lost the next game. The last time an Oklahoma City team was 25 games above .500 was Sept. 5, 1999 (83-58)...The Dodgers are now tied with the Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks for the most wins in the Minors...OKC currently leads the American Northern Division by 10 games, matching their largest first-place lead of the season (previously May 30).
