Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Baseball Club tries for a third consecutive win overall and a sixth straight road win when the team continues its series against the Albuquerque Isotopes at 7:05 p.m. CT at Isotopes Park...OKC also won five straight road games toward the end of last season from Sept. 9-21, 2023. A sixth straight road win tonight would mark OKC's longest road winning streak since a team record 12-game winning streak in away games June 29-July 28, 2023.

Last Game: The Oklahoma City Baseball Club overcame a nine-run deficit and scored 14 runs over the final four innings - including nine runs in the eighth inning alone - to come back and defeat the Albuquerque Isotopes, 17-13, Tuesday night at Isotopes Park. Through five innings, Albuquerque built a 12-3 lead, accumulating 17 hits in the process. Oklahoma City scored two runs in the sixth inning with a RBI triple by Hunter Feduccia and sacrifice fly by Kody Hoese. Feduccia then added a two-run single in the seventh inning. The Isotopes scored a run in the bottom of the seventh inning and still led, 13-7, entering the eighth inning. OKC exploded for nine runs and seven hits in the inning, including five extra-base hits. Jonathan Araúz gave OKC the lead with a two-run double, and Chris Owings put an exclamation point on the rally with a two-run homer. Andre Lipcius finished the scoring with a RBI single in the ninth inning.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Two-time MLB All-Star Walker Buehler (0-2) is scheduled to make his fifth total appearance of a Major League Rehab Assignment today as he recovers from Tommy John surgery and flexor tendon repair in his right elbow that has kept him out of the Los Angeles Dodgers lineup since June 2022...Buehler most recently pitched April 18 in OKC against Sacramento. Buehler labored over 2.2 innings and finished his outing allowing two runs, four hits and four walks with three strikeouts. He faced 15 batters, throwing 68 pitches (34 strikes) and was charged with the loss...During a game April 12 with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga against Stockton, he started and completed 2.0 innings, but was held to 27 pitches (18 strikes) and exited the game early after being hit in the right hand by a comebacker...He has made three starts with OKC this season and opened his rehab assignment with OKC on the road in Tacoma March 31...Buehler made 12 starts for the LA Dodgers in 2022, posting a 6-3 record and 4.02 ERA over 65.0 innings through early June with 17 walks against 58 strikeouts before undergoing Tommy John surgery for the second time in August 2022...Buehler was named to the 2021 and 2019 National League All-Star teams and helped the Dodgers to their 2020 World Series Championship...Overall, Buehler has compiled a 46-16 record and 3.02 ERA over 638.1 IP with a 1.04 WHIP and .212 opponent average over six Major League seasons...Buehler was selected by the Dodgers in the first round (24th overall) of the 2015 MLB Draft out of Vanderbilt University...In the second start of his rehab assignment April 6, Buehler faced against Albuquerque at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. He retired 14 of 16 batters overall after retiring the first nine Albuquerque batters to open the game. Over 4.2 scoreless innings, he allowed two hits and recorded six strikeouts, throwing 65 pitches, including 42 strikes.

Against the Isotopes: 2024: 6-1 2023: 10-14 All-time: 144-120 At ABQ: 62-68 OKC and the Isotopes meet for their second of four series in 2024, totaling 24 games, all to be played within the first half of the season...OKC played its first home series of 2024 against the Isotopes, going 5-1, and outscoring Albuquerque, 37-24. Miguel Vargas racked up 11 RBI in six games, while Andy Pages led OKC with eight hits in the first series...Last season, the Isotopes were one of three teams OKC posted a losing head-to-head record against, along with Salt Lake and Tacoma, as Albuquerque won a season series against OKC for the first time since 2017. OKC won the 2018, 2019 and 2022 series, going a combined 18-6, and split the 2021 series, 9-9, before losing last season's series, 14-10...Last season, the Isotopes went 9-3 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark for their most wins in OKC. Previously, the Isotopes' most wins in Bricktown in one season was five in 2009. Albuquerque won five of six games in OKC Aug. 22-27 before OKC finished that August series with a 14-0 win, tying for the team's largest shutout win ever at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and tied for the second-largest shutout win in the Bricktown era overall (also April 25, 1998 vs. Nashville)...The teams also played a six-game series in OKC July 4-9, 2023, which the Isotopes won, 4-2. It was Albuquerque's first series win in Bricktown since 2016 and the Isotopes won four straight games against OKC within the same series since Aug. 8-11, 2008 in Albuquerque...In 2023, the road team went 16-8 in the season series. OKC went 7-5 in Albuquerque and started 7-2 before dropping their final three games.

Off and Running: Oklahoma City set season highs with 17 runs, 19 hits and nine extra-base hits Tuesday night. OKC scored its most runs in a game since a 17-7 win Aug. 6, 2023 against Round Rock at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and tallied its most hits in a game since recording 22 hits in that same Aug. 6 win last season...Last night was OKC's fourth all-time win when allowing at least 13 runs and three of those victories have occurred within the last two seasons, including two in Albuquerque. OKC also defeated the Isotopes, 15-13, on April 19, 2023. The Isotopes' 13 runs last night were the most by an OKC opponent since July 30, 2023 when Reno scored 15 runs in OKC's 16-15 road win in 11 innings...Before last night, OKC last allowed at least 13 runs in a nine-inning game June 26, 2023 in a 14-3 loss to Salt Lake in OKC...Last night marked the fourth game all-time in the Bricktown era (since 1998) to feature at least 30 total runs...During the Dodgers affiliation since 2015, an OKC team has now scored 17 or more runs in a game 12 times, with eight of those games occurring in the 2022 season or later.

Comeback Kids: Last night's nine-run comeback in a win was tied for the largest in the team's Bricktown era (since 1998). OKC also overcame a nine-run deficit in a win June 3, 2010 at home against Memphis. After trailing, 9-0, in the sixth inning, OKC scored 10 runs over the final four innings, including four in the bottom of the ninth, to win, 10-9. That game ended on a walk-off three-run homer by Esteban Germán...The previous largest comeback in a win during the Dodgers affiliation was seven runs, done twice and most recently July 9, 2021 at El Paso...Yesterday was the second time in the last four seasons a game between OKC and Albuquerque at Isotopes Park featured a team winning after trailing by nine runs. On May 23, 2021, OKC led, 10-1, in the seventh inning before Albuquerque stormed back with 10 runs over the final three innings to win, 11-10.

More Crooked Numbers: Prior to Tuesday's nine-run eighth inning, OKC's last nine-run inning was June 13, 2023 at home against Salt Lake. Incredibly, last night was the third straight road game OKC scored at least eight runs in one inning, joining April 13-14 at Round Rock...The team's seven hits in the eighth inning also tied for the team's most in one inning this season along with April 13 at Round Rock...On the other hand, Albuquerque finished last night's game with 21 hits - the most allowed by OKC since July 8, 2018 against Round Rock. Albuquerque tallied seven hits in the second inning, which is the most hits in an inning by an opponent this season.

The Amazing Jonathan: Jonathan Araúz hit a triple and a double during the eighth-inning rally last night after starting the game 0-for-3. Araúz extended his hitting streak to 12 games, and he is 15-for-49 (.306) during the stretch with six doubles, one triple and a home run. His hitting streak is the longest in the PCL to start the season and is his longest since a career-high 14-game hitting streak with High-A Fayetteville May 17-31, 2019 - the longest hitting streak in the Carolina League that season.

Trey Bien: Trey Sweeney set a season high with three hits Tuesday, including two doubles. He reached base four times and extended his on-base streak to a league-best 21 games. His on-base streak is the longest by an OKC player since David Freitas reached base in 22 straight games June 9-Aug. 20, 2023...Sweeney's 19 walks in 21 games pace the PCL and eight of his first 21 hits this season have gone for extra bases...Sweeney is 7-for-18 with four doubles over the last four games after enduring a 4-for-33 stretch over the previous eight games. He also has recorded a RBI in four straight games...Today is Sweeney's 24th birthday.

Feddy Wap: Hunter Feduccia fell a home run shy of the cycle last night and went 3-for-6 with a season-high four RBI, doubling his RBI total through his first 12 games of the season. Feduccia extended his hitting streak to five games and is 8-for-18 (.444) during that time...Overall in April, Feduccia has hit safely in nine of 11 games, batting .324 (12x37) with six extra-base hits, eight RBI and 10 walks...Feduccia had four hitting streaks last season of at least five games and he last hit safely in six consecutive games Aug. 19-29, 2023....He has reached base all 13 games he's played this season.

Dinger Details: Miguel Vargas hit the longest homer of the season by an OKC player last night - a third-inning blast out to left-center field that traveled an estimated 444 feet for his fourth home run of the season. Chris Owings added a two-run shot in the eighth inning for his second homer of 2024...Oklahoma City's 18 home runs since April 12 (10 games) are most in the PCL and are second-most in all of Triple-A during the span. OKC has hit at least two home runs in seven of the last 10 games...The Isotopes hit two home runs also last night after OKC had not allowed a home run in back-to-back games. Sam Hilliard and Hunter Goodman became the first duo to hit back-to-back home runs against OKC this season...Overall this season, OKC's 17 home runs allowed are fewest in the PCL and second-fewest in all of Triple-A as OKC has allowed a home run in only 11 of 22 games so far this season.

Drewing On Up: Drew Avans recorded a second straight multi-hit game last night, going 2-for-5 with a walk, RBI and three runs scored. He paces OKC with 26 hits and 19 runs scored so far this season - both tied for third-most in the league...Avans took over sole possession of second place on OKC's career walks list during the Bricktown era (since 1998) and is now five walks shy of first place. He is also now one hit away from tying for sixth place on OKC's career hits list during the Bricktown era, as he now has 341 total hits...He ranks seconds in career triples (21) and stolen bases (87) while ranking third in games played (356).

Around the Horn: After going 8-for-44 with runners in scoring position over the entirety over the previous six-game series against Sacramento, OKC went 10-for-20 with RISP last night...Chris Owings extended his hitting streak to six games, going 1-for-3 with home run, two walks, two runs scored and two RBI. He is 8-for-21 (.381) during the stretch with two home runs. Prior to the hit streak, Owings started the season 2-for-26...Ryan Ward did not play last night, but he has 17 RBI over his last 12 games.
