Tulsa Oilers News Release
'07 To '08: The Tulsa Oilers conclude 2007 and start 2008 wrapping up a
six game road trip. They play Monday night at Oklahoma City at 7:35 p.m.
and at Youngstown Friday and Saturday, with both of those games starting
at 6:05 p.m. All three games can be heard on KRVT AM 1270 and accessed
via the internet at www.tulsaoilers.com Road Bump: The Oilers have gone 0-2-1 to start the six game road trip.
They dropped a 5-3 decision Christmas night at Oklahoma City, lost 7-2
to Colorado on Friday and 6-5 in a shootout at Rocky Mountain on Saturday. Star Shine: Warren McCutcheon has been named to the Northern Conference
all-star team for the CHL all-star game on January 16^th . The game will
be in Broomfield, Colorado, hosted by the Rocky Mountain Rage, and pit
the Northern all-stars against their counterparts from the South.
McCutcheon earlier this season scored goals in seven straight games, the
longest streak in the CHL this season. In his 18 games with the Oilers,
McCutcheon has 11 goals and nine assists for 20 points. Streaking: Jeff Christian now has a 10 game point streak with 17 points
in that stretch. David Alexandre Beuaregard now has an eight game point
streak with 11 points in that stretch. 2007 Mark: Heading into Monday's final game of 2007, the Oilers record
for the calendar year is 22-33-8. Home Again?: Not until Tuesday January 8^th against Oklahoma City at
