
Brahmas Sign Goaltender Jaeger, Gets Start Tonight

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX (December 31)- The Texas Brahmas will end the year with a bang as they have announced the signing of a new goaltender, Brett Jaeger for the season. Jaeger is slated to start tonight's game against Bossier-Shreveport at the NYTEX Sports Centre for a 6:05 PM start.
Jaeger comes to the Central Hockey League (CHL) after putting up outstanding numbers in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). The Alberta native played three seasons in the ECHL and had a 51-32-15 career record with the Fresno Falcons and Long Beach Ice Dogs. The 24-year-old goaltender accumulated a .913 save percentage in his three seasons of professional hockey and 2.83 goals against average (GAA). He played in the ECHL All-Star in 2005-06. Jaeger played 5 games with the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL this season.
Prior to playing in the ECHL, Jaeger played in the Western Hockey League (WHL) and the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL). He was named the Most Valuable Player in the AJHL in 2003-04 and the Most Valuable Player in the AJHL All-Star Game. Goaltender Jim Healey was put on waivers Sunday.

The party will run from 9:30-11:00 PM. Duke's Original Roadhouse will provide a Cash Cocktail Service and appetizers will be available for purchase at the concession stands. The first 100 party attendees will be given party favors.
