*Home Finale:* The Tulsa Oilers wrap up a five game homestand and play their final home game of the regular season, hosting the Missouri Mavericks tonight.
*Records: *Oilers are 26-25-6 with 58 points in sixth place in the North Conference.
Missouri is 29-24-4 for 62 points in fourth place in the North Conference.
*Season Series: *This is ninth and final meeting of the season between these two teams. Three of the previous eight games have been decided in shootouts, with Missouri winning two of those. Missouri has won three straight against the Oilers. Tulsa is 3-3-2, while Missouri is 5-2-1 in the head to head match up. The visiting team won the first six games in the series. All three of the Oilers wins have come at Missouri. Missouri took the most recent contest, 5-4 on February 26^th at Missouri.
*Recent Action: *The Oilers suffered their second shutout of the season, 3-0 at the hands of Rapid City last night, in spite of having a 34-32 edge in shots on goal. Missouri got four third period goals en route to a 6-1 home ice win over Colorado.
*.500 Mark:* Tonight is the sixth time this season the Oilers have been one win above the.500 mark since the third game of the season. The Oilers started the season 1-1-0. Since that time, the Oilers have won all five games when they were one game above.500.
*Mavs Riding High: *Missouri comes into tonight's game having won eight of its last* *10 games. The 8-2-0 mark equals Bossier-Shreveport for the best record over the last 10 games.
*Playoff Picture:* The top five teams in each conference qualify for the Ray Miron President Cup playoffs. In the North, Rapid City and Colorado have clinched playoff spots, while Bossier-Shreveport is on the verge of clinching a spot. Missouri is in fourth place with 62 points, Mississippi in fifth with 61 points, and the Oilers in sixth with 58 points. Each of those three teams battling for the final two playoff spots has seven games remaining. Wichita has been eliminated from playoff consideration.
*Next Up: *The Oilers conclude their home schedule tonight and will finish the regular season with six straight road games. They play at Amarillo on Wednesday at 11:05 a.m. The road trip will continue with a pair of games in Colorado, one in Bossier-Shreveport, and the regular season will end with two games at Mississippi on Friday March 19 and Saturday March 20. Missouri plays at Mississippi tomorrow.
