
Oil Kings Support Edmonton's Food Bank

Edmonton Oil Kings News Release
Edmonton, AB.: On Thanksgiving Monday, the Edmonton Oil Kings are trying to Stuff the Bus in support of Edmonton's Food Bank. The Oil Kings are hosting the Brandon Wheat Kings on Monday, October 12th at 2:00 pm. Prior to the contest, the Oil Kings will have their specially designed team bus parked out front of the Game Day Office at Rexall Place. Fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to the game and drop it off at the bus. The Oil Kings bus will be available for viewing at this time. The game is also the Oil Kings first, and only, Sundae Monday. Fans can get an ice cream treat, with all the fixings, for only $1.
After collecting the food donations, the Oil Kings will deliver the goods to Edmonton's Food Bank on Tuesday, October 13th. The players will be aboard the team bus and will arrive at the Food Bank at 11:30 am. The media is invited to Edmonton's Food Bank for photo's, video and interviews at this time. Edmonton's Food Bank is located at 11508 - 120th Street.
