SAN DIEGO - The National Women's Soccer League announced today that four San Diego Wave FC players have been named to the NWSL Best XI, presented by Amazon Prime, Kenza Dali, Lia Godfrey, Kennedy Wesley, and Dudinha.
Media assets including highlights from the month of March can be found here. San Diego's four selections were the most of any club for the month, highlighting the team's strong start to the 2026 season as the Wave closed out the month of March on a three-game win streak, currently sitting in second place in league standings. In a seven day period, the Club earned three consecutive wins, outscoring the opponents 7-2.
In Godfrey's first month of her professional career, she earned the NWSL Rookie of the Month award, presented by Ally, after scoring three goals in consecutive matches including the game-winning goal in the 87th minute against the Utah Royals FC.
Dali anchored the Wave's midfield, appearing in all four matches and totaling 360 minutes played. Dali recorded an assist in March while maintaining an 86% passing accuracy, helping San Diego secure a three-match winning streak.
Wesley was a consistent presence on the backline, playing every minute during the month of March. Wesley recorded an 89% passing accuracy and contributed defensively with key interceptions and aerial duels, playing a central role in the Wave's clean sheet against Chicago.
Dudinha played a key role in San Diego's attack, contributing to five of the Wave's seven goals in March with two goals and three assists. She scored in back-to-back matches, recorded two assists against Chicago, and finished the month leading the league in assists.
San Diego faces Boston Legacy tonight, April 3 at 4:00 p.m. PT. The match will be streamed live on NWSL+ and broadcast on KUSI San Diego. The Club returns to Snapdragon Stadium on Sunday, May 3 for Kids Day. Tickets for the match can be purchased here.
