Norfolk recalls Krys Barch

NORFOLK, VA – Today, the Norfolk Admirals announced that they have recalled right wing Krys Barch from their ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Grrrowl, and signed him to a professional tryout. Additionally, Norfolk has released left wing Mike Brown from a PTO and signed him to an AHL standard player's contract.

In 43 games with Greenville, Barch has posted seven goals and 15 assists for 22 points, 84 penalty minutes and an even rating. Barch was an invitee to Norfolk's 2004-05 training camp.

Originally signed to a PTO in September, Brown has appeared in 44 games for the Admirals, netting five goals and five helpers for 10 points and a minus-5 rating. His 208 PIM are most on the team, and place him among the top 10 in the AHL in PIM.

The Admirals' next home games are this evening and Saturday, February 12th at 7:30 p.m. against East Division rivals, the Philadelphia Phantoms (Philadelphia Flyers).
