Next Snappers Homestand to Provide Plenty of Summer Fun

BELOIT, WI - After a 12-game road trip, the Snappers finally return home to Pohlman Field tomorrow at 7:00pm when they welcome their division-rival Kane County Cougars to town. The Cougars are currently first-place in the Midwest League Western Division, with a 21-13 record in the second half.
Tuesday night's game will be All Sports Night at Pohlman Field. Any youngster wearing their youth sports uniform will receive at FREE general admission ticket to that night's game! Fans will be able to enjoy yet another College & Dollar Night at the ballpark, where fans that show a valid college ID can get a general admission ticket for just $1.00. All fans can enjoy small hot dogs, small sodas and small popcorns just also just $1.00. 12oz drafts on Leinenkugel's products are just $1.50 thanks to Ott-Schweitzer Distributing. Game time is set for 7:00pm with gates opening an hour before.
The game on Wednesday night will also be at 7:00pm and will feature Cash Back Wednesday's which means it's Happy Hour all game long! Sodas and 12oz drafts of Miller products are just $2.00 courtesy of Pepsi and Ott-Schweitzer Distributing. Fans can head down to the Firehouse Grill to try Snappy's newest favorites the "Buffalo Chicken Dog," and the "Nacho Chicken Dog" for just $3.00.
Thursday night will not only be Thirsty Thursday's at Pohlman Field, but the Snappers will be hosting their second deck party of the season. The theme this time around will be "Deep in the Heart of Texas" and will have a specialized menu thanks to Kandu Industries/Best Events Catering. It will also be host to an amazing silent auction with many autographed items from present and past major league baseball players. Some items include autographed items from Minnesota Twins star catcher Joe Mauer, hall-of-famer Paul Molitor and Twins great Tony Oliva. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased through one of the Snappers board of directors or by calling the Snappers front office at 608-362-2272.
Every Thursday mark Ticket and a T-shirt Thursday and a Horny Goat Brewing Company Giveaway. Fans can get a general admission ticket and an official Snappers logo t-shirt for just $10.00. Buy any Horny Goat Brewing Company beer and receive an entry for a $50.00 gift card to the Horny Coat Brewing Company Brew Pub in Milwaukee. Fans are also encouraged to try the newest food creation at the ballpark, the "True Wisconsin Cheeseburger," for just $5.00.
Finally, Friday's showdown at 7:00pm will mark the Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears Night in which fans are asked to wear gear representing their favorite NFL team. After the game, there will be the Snappers tenth fireworks show of the year, proudly sponsored by Elliot, Monahan & Assoc. S.C., Senz Insurance and Suds O'Hanahan's Irish Pub.
The Snappers will also be home Saturday, August 6 through Tuesday August 9 as they complete the eight-game homestand against the Quad Cities River Bandits. All game times are set for 7:00pm with Sunday's game being at 2:00pm.
