Naradowski Returns to Silver Hawks

South Bend Silver Hawks News Release

South Bend, IN - In conjunction with the Arizona Diamondbacks, the South Bend Silver Hawks have announced that David Narodowski has joined the team from short-season A Yakima. He takes the roster spot of Zach Walters, who was traded to the Washington Nationals organization on Saturday.

Narodowski played a utility role for the Yakima Bears, spending time at all four infield positions, left field, and designated hitter. He hit .217 with two homers and seven RBIs in 18 games this season.

A former Kansas Jayhawks star, Narodowski was selected in the 15th round of the 2009 draft. He spent all of 2010 with South Bend, hitting .223 with three homers and 19 RBIs in 88 games.

The South Bend roster currently stands at 25 active players, plus two on the disabled list.
