New York City FC Announces First Three 2020 MLS Matches Including Home Opener against FC Dallas on Saturday, March 14

New York City FC News Release

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Major League Soccer announced today that New York City FC will start the 2020 regular season on the road against Columbus Crew SC at MAPFRE Stadium on Sunday, March 1 at 12:30 pm ET.

NYCFC will then travel to Toronto FC for the opening match at BMO Field on Saturday, March 7 at 5:00 pm ET. Last season, the two teams faced off in the 2019 MLS Eastern Conference Semifinal after NYCFC won the regular season Eastern Conference.

NYCFC's sixth season home opener, presented by Etihad Airways, will take place at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, March 14 at 12:30 pm ET against FC Dallas. NYCFC will mark the start of the new season with an expanded Homecoming celebration focusing on multiple activities throughout the city.

The full regular season schedule will be released by MLS in the coming weeks.

Additionally, NYCFC will find out their opponent for the 2020 Concacaf Champions League following a live draw on Monday, December 9. More information on Concacaf Champions League will follow the draw.
