Columbus Crew SC to Host New York City FC for 2020 MLS Opening Match on March 1

COLUMBUS - Major League Soccer today announced that Columbus Crew SC will begin the 2020 MLS regular season at MAPFRE Stadium by hosting New York City FC, at 12:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 1. This is the first time Crew SC begins the MLS regular season against New York City FC. Notably, the Black & Gold are undefeated in their last three home opening matches dating back to 2017, with a record of 1-0-2 over that span.
The 2020 regular season will be the Crew's 25th season in MLS and the 21st season at MAPFRE Stadium - the League's first soccer-specific stadium. Crew SC 2020 Season Ticket Membership packages are currently available through the Club's website, ColumbusCrewSC.com.
