
New Tourists Pitcher Peter Tago to Start Friday Night

Righthanded pitcher Peter Tago has been assigned to the Asheville Tourists and will make his professional debut in a start against the Lexington Legends at McCormick Field on Friday, May 20, beginning at 7:05 p.m.
Tago, who will be activated on Friday after starting the season in extended spring training, was the Colorado Rockies' supplemental first-round draft pick in 2010. The 47th overall selection last June, Tago signed with the Rockies at the deadline last August instead of accepting a scholarship to attend Cal State Fullerton.
