
New Mascot Has Name

Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Harrisburg Senators announced the name of the team's new mascot during Friday's game at Commerce Bank Park. The name was selected by a vote and the winner was Grrrounder.
More than 1,400 fans voted in the name the mascot event with Grrounder receiving more than 40 per cent of the vote. The only name close was Southpaw, which received 32 per cent of the total votes.
Grrrounder is a dog-like character, who will be on hand at all Senators games. Grrrounder will join long-time Senators' mascot Rascal in making Commerce Bank Park a fun place to be and both will make public appearances.
