RECENTLY...Due to last nights rain out RHP SEAN SMITH (8-1, 2.36 ERA) will start tonight in what will be the second game of now the three game series against the Trenton Thunder...Last nights game is to be made up on August 25 as Part of a double header (two seven inning games)...On Thursday night RHP ADAM MILLER now 9-5 with an ERA of 3.56, picked up the win last night after pitching five scoreless innings (4 H, 2 BB, 3 SO)...OF RYAN GOLESKI was the highlight of the Aeros offense as he went 3-3, (1 R, 2 2B, 2 RBI, 1 BB) beating the Trenton Thunder 4-3.
COOLING DOWN...After going 19-4 (5/30-6/24), the Aeros are now in the 5-10 in their last 15 games (6/25-current)
ALL OF THE ROSTER MOVES...On Monday OF CASEY BLAKE joined the Aeros on a rehab assignment in right-field...NICK PESCO was activated from the disabled list and RHP KYLE COLLINS was sent to Class A Kinston...Last Friday, the Aeros sent RHP JENSEN LEWIS to Class A Kinston and transferred RHP ADAM MILLER to the Akron roster...OF JUAN VALDES was sent to Class A Lake County and the Aeros received OF TREVOR CROWE from Class A Lake County.
