New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
Manchester, NH- RHP Jordan DeJong was promoted to Triple-A Syracuse today and RHP Justin James has rejoined the Fisher Cats from Class-A Dunedin.
The 27-year old DeJong has pitched in 15 games for New Hampshire this season, compiling a 1-0 record with a 1.50 ERA. DeJong was selected in the 18th round of the 2002 draft by Toronto. It will be his second stint with Triple-A Syracuse this season.
James, Toronto's 5th round draft pick in 2003, worked in seven games with the Fisher Cats from June 13th-July 1st, compiling an 0-0 record with a 3.48 ERA in 7 games. The 24-year old was 0-2, 4.12 in 24 relief outings with Dunedin.
The Fisher Cats are scheduled to play a day/night doubleheader today (Saturday) in New Britain against the Rock Cats (Twins).
