BRITAIN, CT - Rock Cats first baseman Chris Parmelee scored from third on a wild pitch in the bottom of the ninth as the Rock Cats walked off with a 4-3 victory on Friday night.

The Rock Cats relied on small ball in the final frame. Parmelee led off the ninth with a single to right field and moved to second on a perfectly placed bunt by Yangervis Solarte. Parmelee then moved to third on Nathan Hanson's groundout to second. With two outs and Mike Hollimon at the plate, Rafael Martin (1-1) unleashed a wild pitch. Parmelee slid safely into home for the game winner.

The Rock Cats took a 1-0 lead in the first inning when Brian Dozier led off with a base hit to left and came around to score on Parmelee's one-out single. Harrisburg answered back in the second inning. Bill Rhinehart led off with a double and scored on a two-out double by Adam Fox.

Deibinson Romero's solo home run to lead off the fifth put the Rock Cats back on top, 2-1. The Senators struck back in the following inning again. Chris Rahl doubled to start the inning and Rhinehart followed with a walk. Both runners advanced on a sacrifice bunt down the third baseline by Archie Gilbert. Rahl scored on Tim Pahuta's groundout to second base to tie the game. Fox delivered a single to knock in Rhinehart to give the Senators its first lead, 3-2.

The Senators sent reliever Jimmy Barthmaler to the mound to start the seventh. He allowed a leadoff single to Dozier. A fielding error by second baseman Josh Johnson allowed Chris Herrmann to reach base safely and moved Dozier to second. Evan Bigley then dropped down a bunt and beat out the throw to load the bases. Parmelee then dropped a single into left field to plate Dozier for the tying run.

Senators' starter Shairon Martis scattered seven hits for one earned run through six innings. He struck out six.

Deinys Suarez allowed three runs on eight hits in six innings for the Rock Cats. Tyler Robertson (5-3) tossed a scoreless ninth to pick up the win. Dozier and Parmelee both finished with three hits on the night.
