Harrisburg Senators News Release
Harrisburg, PA - The Eastern League of Professional Baseball has announced that RH Hassan Pena has been added to the 2011 Northeast Delta Dental Eastern League All-Star Game roster as a replacement for Senators' teammate, RH Brad Peacock. The addition brings the Senators' total to six players selected for the game. Pena joins pitchers Peacock and RH Erik Arnesen, INF Tyler Moore, OF Archie Gilbert, and OF Bill Rhinehart as representatives of Harrisburg on the Western Division team. Peacock is attending the game but due to his participation in the 2011 XM Futures Game, he is unavailable to pitch.
Hassan Pena (1-1-5, 2.10) leads the team with five saves. He has the fourth lowest ERA of any Senators' reliever. Pena earned his first win of the season on April 29 against the New Britain Rock Cats. He was promoted to Syracuse on May 31, and appeared in seven games before returning to Harrisburg. The 26-year old was selected by the Washington Nationals in the 13th round of the 2006 draft.
The 2011 Northeast Delta Dental Eastern League All-Star Game will take place at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, New Hampshire, home of the New Hampshire FisherCats.
