Tonight, the SeaWolves look to equal their longest winning streak of the season as they look for their fourth straight win in the second game of a four-game series against the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the SeaWolves jumped ahead in the first inning and went on to a 7-3 win over the Aeros. Erie has taken three of the first four games of the season series. With the win, the SeaWolves are back above the .500 mark and are alone in third place in the EL West, six games out of first and two games out of the wild card spot...Righty Brooks Brown takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his fifth start and first against the Aeros. Brown suffered his worst loss of the season in his last start at Richmond on June 26. In the game, he lasted just 2.1 innings, allowing nine runs on 11 hits with a walk and a strikeout. Erie lost the game 10-1...RHP Joe Gardner takes the mound for the Aeros making his 14th start and first against the SeaWolves. Gardner earned a win in his last start against Reading allowing two runs on four hits with two walks and six strikeouts in seven innings of work. He is 2-0 with a no-decision in his last three starts. Gardner has struggled on the road. In four road starts, he is 0-3 with a 6.75 ERA...Rawley Bishop is hitting .400 (14x35) in his last 10 games...The SeaWolves are one of 90 Minor League Baseball teams wearing Stars and Stripes Caps over the next three games.
