Northwest Arkansas Naturals News Release

After trading runs in the third inning, the Northwest Arkansas Naturals could not keep up with the Arkansas Travelers, falling 5-1 in the fourth of a six-game series.

Clay Dungan drove in the Naturals' lone run, a sacrifice fly that brought home Dairon Blanco.

Arkansas struck left-hander Derrick Adams for two runs, he took his second loss of the season having allowed two runs on four hits. Yefri Del Rosario (MLB Pipeline's No. 29 Royals' prospect) made his second start of the year and was solid for Northwest Arkansas, pitching the game's first three innings and allowing just a run while not walking a batter and striking out five.

Between Del Rosario, Adams, Robert Garcia and Dylan Coleman, the Naturals' pitching staff combined to strike out 15 Travelers hitters.

Garcia pitched 1.2 scoreless after Adams, striking out three while Coleman pitched the final two innings, tagged for two runs but struck out three.

Nick Pratto's (MLB Pipeline's No. 9 Royals' prospect) 22-game reached base streak came to an end as the Naturals' first baseman went 0-for-4.

Travis Jones, Blanco and Blake Perkins had the only hits of the game for the Naturals, all singles.

Northwest Arkansas will once again look to secure at least a split with the Travelers, as they play the fifth of the six-game series at 6:05 p.m. Gates will open to the public at 4:30 p.m. for a Dri-Fit T-Shirt Giveaway by Gorilla Glue and a Bullpen Party presented by Choctaw Casino & Resorts - Pocola from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
