Nailers to Honor Ted Arneault

Wheeling, WV – The Wheeling Nailers will honor Mr. Ted Arneault – President & CEO of The Mountaineer Race Track & Gaming Resort on Saturday, November 30th before the Wheeling Nailers take on the Reading Royals at 7:30pm.

Prior to the game on Saturday, November 30th the Wheeling Nailers along with Nick Sparachane, Mayor of the City of Wheeling, and Brian McKenna, President & CEO of the East Coast Hockey League will honor Mr. Ted Arneault, President & CEO of The Mountaineer Race Track & Gaming Resort. Mr. Arneault will be recognized for his business accomplishments in the Ohio Valley and the state of West Virginia. Recently The Mountaineer Race Track & Gaming Resort was cited as the 45th fastest growing company in the United States by Forbes Magazine. Under Mr. Arneault's watch, he took The Mountaineer from a $5.2 million operating loss to an operating profit of $34.9 million in the year 2000.

"Mr. Arneault, along with The Mountaineer, has been a fantastic supporter of the Wheeling Nailers and plays a vital role in keeping the Wheeling franchise here in the Ohio Valley," stated Jeff Barrett, President of Lemieux Hockey Development.

Mr. Arneault will be honored "on-ice" in a pre-game ceremony while being presented a "key" to the City of Wheeling by Nick Sparachane and an authentic Wheeling Nailers Jersey by Brian McKenna from the ECHL.

The Nailers host the Reading Royals Saturday, November 30th at 7:30pm. Tickets are available at the Wheeling Civic Center Box Office or by calling the Nailers at 304-234-GOAL.
