
Nailers Join ESPN to Raise $5,000 For Flood Relief

WHEELING, WV â The Wheeling Nailers will play host to the Dayton Bombers this Wednesday at the Iceoplex in Southpointe at 7:30. During the second intermission of the game the Nailers will be welcoming special guests for the ESPN Celebrity Shootout.
ESPN Radio's Mark Madden has chosen five shooters to shoot on the Pittsburgh station's President/General Manager Dennis Begley. Madden's Celebrity shooters include former Penguins Joe Mullen, Phil Bourque, Peter Taglianetti, Warren Young, and high school standout Ryan Jones.
Each shooter will get two chances to score, each chance will be worth $500 towards charity. If Dennis Begley makes a save that $500 will be going towards the House of the Carpenter Charity in Wheeling. If one of the celebrity shooters beats Begley the $500 will go towards the North Hills Community Outreach.
Fans interested in purchasing tickets for this game can call the Nailers office at (304) 234-GOAL, or purchase them at the door that night. All tickets are $15, to get to Iceoplex exit off of I-79 at the Southpointe or Canonsburg exits.
