(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League have assigned forward Todd Jackson to Toledo.
Jackson, selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, has appeared in 30 games this season with the Griffins collecting 2 assists. Todd, the native of Cortland, New York, played two seasons with the US Jr. National Team before heading to a four-year career at the University of Maine. While at Maine, Jackson scored 45 goals and added 54 assists.
Toledo is home this Friday night against the Wheeling Nailers. Saturday night features the Toledo against Detroit Alumni game, followed by the Storm and the Dayton Bombers.
