TRENTON, NJ (January 18, 2005) âThe Trenton Titans today announced that left wings Nick Deschenes and Brent Robinson and goaltender Chris Houle have been reassigned by the Titans'American Hockey League affiliate, the Philadelphia Phantoms.
Deschenes, in his second professional season, has tallied 9 points (3g, 6a) and 16 penalty minutes in 20 games for the Titans. A graduate of Yale University, Deschenes split last season between the Titans and the Phantoms
Before his call-up on January 6, Robinson led the Titans in scoring with 23 points (9g, 14a) in 28 games. The 23-year old rookie is tied for second on the squad with five multi-point games and tied for the team-lead with seven power play assists.
In 17 games for Trenton this year, Houle has registered a 9-4-3 record with a 2.55 goals against average and .915 save percentage. The native of Caslan, Alberta was the Titans' lone representative to the 2004 ECHL All-Star Game and also split last season between Trenton and Philadelphia (AHL).
