Nailers Announce Details of 2015 Wing Fest

WHEELING, WV- The Wheeling Nailers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens, have announced the return of one of their promotions, which has become a yearly favorite with the fans. On February 27th, the Nailers will host Wing Fest.
When the gates to WesBanco Arena open at 6:30 on February 27th, fans will have the opportunity to begin purchasing wing tickets, which will allow them to sample wings from a variety of local participating restaurants around the Ohio Valley. One dollar will be good for three wings, and each restaurant has been encouraged to provide different types of wings for fans to be able to sample. Once fans have done their sampling, they will vote on the restaurant that they believe deserves the honor of "2015 Wing Fest Champion," in the categories of Fan's Choice and Booth Presentation. Wing Fest will run through the first intermission of the 7:35 game that night between the Nailers and Elmira Jackals.
Friday, February 27th is the next home game for the Wheeling Nailers, which will also feature Frosty Friday, a player poster giveaway, and Wheeling Island Nailer Night. For tickets and more information, call the Nailers at (304) 234-GOAL.
The Nailers will play three games during the weekend of February 27th-March 1st.
Elmira returns to town on Friday, February 27th at 7:35 as the Nailers host their annual Wing Fest game. That night will also be a Flat Screen Friday, Frosty Friday, Player Poster Giveaway, and Wheeling Island Nailer Night.
Saturday, February 28th is Pink in the Rink, when Wheeling battles Greenville at 7:35 . The Nailers will wear special jerseys, there will be pink rally towels handed out, and autographed mystery pucks will be available for purchase.
Sunday, March 1st wraps up the weekend at 4:05 against the Road Warriors on a Family Funday with $5 kids tickets, Oglebay Good Zoo Day, and a post game skate with the team. That day will also be the annual Pucks & Paws Day, when fans are invited to bring their dogs and cats to the game.
