FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Gladiators (16-29-3-1) head into the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum for the first time this season to take on the North Division-leading Fort Wayne Komets (33-12-1-3) on Friday night. This will be the second time the two teams will face each other this season; the previous meeting was on January 11th at The Arena at Gwinnett Center. In that game, the Komets scored four-straight goals, just barely edging out the Gladiators, who scored two late goals to make it a 4-3 deficit.

On Wednesday night, the Glads picked up their first point in six games, thanks to Garry Nunn's two goal effort in Kalamazoo. Facing a 4-3 loss late in the third, Nunn scored with just over three minutes left to bring the game into overtime. It was the first time the team had also scored four goals since their 4-1 win over the Orlando Solar Bears on February 6th.
