Jackals and Fuel Face-Off for First Ever Meeting at First Arena

ELMIRA, NY - February 20, 2015 - The Elmira Jackals, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and AHL's Rochester Americans, host the Indy Fuel for the first ever meeting at First Arena. The Jackals and Fuel met in the inaugural matchup on January 31st in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Tonight the Jackals host the Indy Fuel for the second meeting of the season and the first ever at First Arena. The inaugural meeting between these two teams occurred on January 31st at Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, Indiana. Elmira out-shot the Fuel 41-18, but the goaltending of Mac Carruth proved to be the difference in the 3-0 Indy win. Despite meeting for the first time, these feisty foes racked up 68 penalty minutes, 12 power-plays and six fighting majors. The Jackals and Fuel are meeting for the second time this season, and the first of two at First Arena. Elmira and Indy will conclude the season series on April 5th in Indianapolis, Indiana.
