NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - Alex Parent's 10th goal of the season stood as the game-winner as the Mississippi Sea Wolves rang out 2008 with a 2-1 win over the South Carolina Stingrays at the North Charleston Coliseum on Wednesday night.
Mark Rooneem got Mississippi on the board when he picked up an errant pass from the Stingrays' Sasha Pokulok, broke down the slot and fired a wrist shot past South Carolina goalie Bobby Goepfert at 4:25 of the first period.
