Beloit Sky Carp News Release

The Beloit Snappers erased an early 3-0 deficit to even the series with Dayton heading into tomorrow's rubber match.

Miguel Munoz took the mound for the Snappers and pitched six quality innings and also came through in a rare opportunity for a pitcher in the Midwest League to deliver at the plate. Munoz singled and scored for the Snappers after a double switch following an injury to catcher Danny Rams took the designated hitter out of the equation for Beloit.

Dayton made an offensive change after the first batter of the game, Andrew Means, injured his finger. Stepping in for the injured Dragon was Cameron Satterwhite who came up big with three hits and three runs produced. However, Satterwhite's efforts would not be enough on this night.

The "Brodie Trophy Player of the Game" is Angel Morales who homered and doubled for the Snappers. Morales also drew two walks on a night where he picked up two RBI's and scored twice as well.
