Coach Kelly Night at the Cove

South Bend, IN - The South Bend Silver Hawks will honor new University of Notre Dame head football coach Brian Kelly with "Welcome Coach Kelly Night" sponsored by McDonald Physical Therapy at Coveleski Stadium on Friday, June 18th.
The Silver Hawks take on the Fort Wayne TinCaps at 7:30 p.m. (gates open at 6:30 p.m.)
"We're extremely excited to have Coach Kelly with us at the Cove on June 18th," said Lynn Kachmarik, Vice President and General Manager for the Silver Hawks. "Bringing Notre Dame football together with Silver Hawks baseball unites two great teams in the South Bend community."
"It's a great way to show Coach Kelly that the community is behind him as he prepares for his first season leading the Irish."
As part of the festivities, the first 300 fans through the gates will receive a Silver Hawks rally towel courtesy of McDonald Physical Therapy and the first 1,000 fans will receive a Wendy's Scratch 'N Win card.
The celebration continues into the pregame, which includes a community welcome for Coach Kelly as he displays his baseball skills by throwing out a ceremonial first pitch. Irish Dancers will be on hand as well for continued pregame entertainment.
After a rivalry game between the Silver Hawks and TinCaps, the night's festivities conclude with a post game fireworks show, sponsored by WNDU and First Source Bank.
