Dragons Henry Rodriguez Selected for MWL All-Star Game

Dayton, Ohio-The Dayton Dragons announced today that second baseman Henry Rodriguez has been selected to start at second base for the Eastern Division team in the Midwest League All-Star Game at Fort Wayne on June 22nd.
Rodriguez, named Midwest League Batter of the Week for the week of May 31-June 6, is batting .279 with six home runs and a team-leading 37 runs batted in (through June 8). He is tied for the Midwest League lead in doubles with 19 and tied for fifth in RBI. He is also tied for fifth in total bases with 103. With runners in scoring position, he is batting .359 to lead the Dragons. Rodriguez is batting .414 in seven games in the month of June.
The Dragons play at Beloit tonight at 8:00 p.m. They return home to Fifth Third Field on Friday, June 18 to host the Great Lakes Loons at 7:00 p.m.
