MANCHESTER, NH - Manchester scored five goals for the second straight game in a 5-2 win over Norfolk on Sunday. The Monarchs received goals from five different players.

Patrik Bartosak stopped 20 of the 22 shots he faced for his fourth win in five starts this season. It was his first action since Nov. 16 at Hartford.

"I haven't played in a while," Bartosak said. "So, I was excited to play and enjoyed it as much as I could. And I'm glad we got the two points."

At 5:56 of the first period Zach O'Brien gave Manchester a 1-0 lead with his fifth goal of the season and second goal in as many nights.

Nic Dowd buried a rebound opportunity at 2:54 in the second period to give Manchester a 2-0 lead.

Norfolk answered back just seconds later when Antoine Laganiere made it 2-1 at 3:11 in the second.

Jordan Weal restored Manchester's two-goal lead when he tallied his 10th goal of the season at 6:32 in the second on a one-time shot.

William Karlsson picked up Norfolk's second goal of the game at 15:16 in the second, making it 3-2.

Jeff Schultz made it 4-2 at 19:32 in the second when he scored on a feed from Sean Backman streaking down the right slot.

Brian O'Neill ended the scoring when he tallied his seventh goal of the season at 6:49 in the third.

The Monarchs return to the ice on Friday when they head to Portland for the latest rendition of the VIP Cup at 7 p.m. Manchester's next home game is on Dec. 19 against Worcester.

Notes:

* MCH extended its winning streak at the Verizon Wireless Arena to six straight games beginning on Nov. 8.

* The Monarchs are 15-0-0-0 when leading after two periods this season.

* This marks the second time Manchester has tallied five goals in back-to-back games (also Nov. 14-15). * Andrew Bodnarchuk recorded his first point of the season, picking up an assist on Dowd's goal.
