Toronto Marlies News Release
The Marlies shutout the Rochester Americans Sunday afternoon, 3-0, in front of 6,914 fans at Ricoh Coliseum. Brendan Mikkelson opened the scoring midway through the first, while Josh Leivo added a power play marker in the second. Matt Frattin capped the scoring with an empty net goal. Antoine Bibeau recorded his second shutout with the Marlies this season making 25 save and earning himself the first star.
Toronto is back in action Friday December 12th in Utica when they take on the Comets at 7:00 p.m. Toronto then returns home Saturday and Sunday for games against the St. John's Ice Caps. Both games are at 3:00 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at marlies.ca/tickets or by calling 416-597-PUCK (7825).
