Monarchs Spreading Holiday Cheer

Manchester Monarchs News Release


The Monarchs Care Foundation, the charitable arm of the Manchester Monarchs, will distribute 500 tickets to charities in the Manchester area for the Monarchs game on Friday, December 16 against the Albany River Rats as part of the teams new Spreading Holiday Cheer Program.

Pelmac Industries, Trimz Family Haircut Center, Sanel Auto Parts, Catholic Medical Center and Northwestern Mutual Finacial Network have purchased a total of 500 tickets to be distributed to local charities. The Monarchs Spreading Holiday Cheer Program gives families and individuals in the Manchester area the opportunity to come to a game and enjoy the holiday season.

The recipients of the tickets include the American Lung Association of New Hampshire; Big Brothers and Sisters of Manchester; Girl Scouts of Swift Water Council; Manchester Boys and Girls Club; Manchester Neighborhood Housing Services; Community Care Givers of Greater Derry; Kimi Nichols Center, Inc.; The Mental Health Center of New Hampshire; St. Joseph Community Services; Camp Allen and the Upper Room, Family Resource Center.

The Monarchs game on Friday also includes the fourth annual Teddy Bear Toss. Fans are encouraged to bring or purchase teddy bears at the game to throw on the ice during the second intermission. All teddy bears collected will be given to Easter Seals, Child and Family Services, Families In Transition, DCYF, Manchester Police, Manchester Fire, Hillsboro Sheriff Department, Children's Hospital at Dartmouth and David's House.
