Monarchs Call Up Hogeboom

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have recalled center Greg Hogeboom from the ECHL's Reading Royals, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.

Hogeboom, 23, has appeared in one Monarchs game this season, collecting zero points and two penalty minutes. The 6-foot, 190-pound native of Etobicoke, Ontario, was leading the Royals in scoring at the time of his recall with 27 points (9-18=27) in 19 games. Selected by the Kings in the fifth-round (152nd overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, Hogeboom played in 14 games with the Monarchs during the 2004-05 season, recording one goal and 10 penalty minutes.

The Monarchs host the Albany River Rats at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Friday, December 16 at 7:35 p.m.
