Sens Ink winger Cory Pecker to 25-game PTO

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced on Thursday that right wing Cory Pecker has been signed to a 25-game professional tryout agreement. In 18 games this season with the Phoenix Roadrunners, of the East Coast Hockey League, the 24-year-old Pecker has recorded 11 goals and 12 assists for 23 points and 39 penalty minutes. The Montreal, Quebec native has also skated in three games with the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage, recording one assist.

Pecker spent 14 regular season games as well as one playoff contest with the B-Sens during the 2003-04 season. During his previous stint with Binghamton, Pecker had eight points (3 goals, 5 assists) along with 27 penalty minutes. Pecker did not record a point in his lone playoff game that season.

Pecker has seen action in a total of 209 AHL games with the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, Manitoba Moose, San Antonio and Binghamton. In his American Hockey League career, the former sixth-round pick of the Calgary Flames, has accumulated 34 goals and 38 assists for 72 points to go along with 186 penalty minutes.

Pecker will join the Senators for Friday night's game, when the Norfolk Admirals make their first trip of the season to the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. The game is slated for a 7:05 p.m. faceoff. Call (607) 722-SENS for ticket information.
