
Gusev Joins Norfolk

Norfolk Admirals News Release
NORFOLK, VA - Today, the Norfolk Admirals announced that defenseman Vladimir Gusev has been reassigned to the team by their NHL parent club, the Chicago Blackhawks, from their ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Grrrowl. In 18 games for the Grrrowl this season, Gusev posted two goals and seven assists for nine points, and 34 penalty minutes.
This is Gusev's third stint with Norfolk. He appeared in 10 games for the Admirals in 2003-04, registering one assist for one point and 10 PIM, and played in two games last year, going scoreless with six PIM.
