
Aeros players, staff, volunteer at Elves & More

HOUSTON, Texas - Houston Aeros players, Chilly, staff and members of Sonic Boom and Strike Force spent Wednesday evening at Reliant Center building children's bikes for Elves & More. Elves & More builds and distributes bikes every Christmas to deliver to needy children in the Houston area. Chilly will spend Thursday afternoon helping to deliver the bikes to area neighborhoods. Elves & More will be featured in an upcoming edition of the CBS Evening News. Stay tuned to www.aeros.com to find out when to watch.
Houston Aeros Charities also made a donation to Elves & More which will purchase 125 bikes as part of the program. Click here for information on how to donate or volunteer with Elves & More.
The Aeros begin a five-game holiday homestand this Friday and Saturday against the Peoria Rivermen. Gametime both nights is 7:35 p.m.

Friday, the first 3,000 fans will receive a Josh Harding/Patrick O'Sullivan/Roman Voloshenko Nesting Doll. Saturday, the first 5,000 fans will get an Aeros Santa Hat. Saturday is also the Aeros' annual Teddy Bear Toss. Bring a new stuffed animal to the game to throw on the ice after the Aeros' first goal. Toys will be distributed to Houston-area children.
Aeros recall pair from Pensacola
HOUSTON, Texas - The American Hockey League's Houston Aeros have recalled forwards Adam Courchaine (core-SHANE) and Mark Rooneem (rooh-NEEM) from ECHL Pensacola, the teams announced Thursday. The pair was loaned to the Ice Pilots on November 22.
Courchaine has no points and is minus-one in six games for the Aeros this season. Rooneem has no points and 10 penalty minutes in five games for Houston. Courchaine is Pensacola's leading goal scorer with 10 and is third on the Ice Pilots in points with 17 (10-7=17) despite playing in only 13 of his team's 23 games. Courchaine was the ECHL's Player of the Week for the week of November 28-December 4. Rooneem has six points (2-4=6) in 13 games for the Ice Pilots.
