
Monarchs Sign Difruscia and Maletta to ATO's

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have signed forwards Anthony Difruscia and Jordan Maletta to Amateur Try Out agreements (ATO). Both players will be available for tonight's game against Worcester, with Difruscia wearing number eight and Maletta wearing 17.
Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough made the announcement.
Difruscia, 19, played each of the last three seasons with the Niagara IceDogs in the OHL. He combined for 103 points (51 goals, 52 assists) in 135 games for Niagara over the last two seasons. The Thorold, ON native tallied 26 goals, 25 assists and a plus-six rating in 68 games this year.
The 19-year-old Maletta played 246 games in the OHL over four seasons between the Windsor Spitfires (93 games) and Niagara (153 games). He set career highs in goals (24), assists (28) and points (52) this season with the IceDogs. Maletta tallied nine points (6 goals, 3 assists) in 11 games during the OHL playoffs.
The Monarchs close out their home regular-season schedule with a 7 p.m. game against Worcester tonight. Their final regular season game will be tomorrow in Providence at 3:05.
