IceCaps Release Ryan Parent from PTO

St. John's IceCaps News Release


The St. John's IceCaps announced they have released defenceman Ryan Parent from his professional tryout contract.

Parent, 28, played 22 games with the IceCaps this season, recording two assists and 16 penalty minutes.

The Prince Albert, SK native is a former first round pick by the Nashville Predators in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft and has played in 106 career NHL games, registering seven points (1G, 6A) and 36 penalty minutes.
