Monarchs Release Denike and Lisabeth

MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, the AHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, on Monday released goaltender Terry Denike and right wing Travis Lisabeth from their professional tryout agreements. Denike, 22, has not appeared in a Monarchs game this season. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound native of Mississauga, Ontario, has appeared in five games with the ECHL's Reading Royals this season, where he has a record of 1-1-1, a goals-against-average of 3.49 and a save-percentage of .899. Selected by the Kings in the fifth-round (152nd overall) in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, Denike has also appeared in two games with the Central Hockey League's Wichita Thunder this season. He has a record of 1-1-0, a goals-against-average of 2.42 and a save-percentage of .905 in the two games.

Lisabeth, 23, has appeared in eight games with the Monarchs this season, recording zero points and zero penalty minutes. The 6-foot, 200-pound native of London, Ontario, has appeared in 46 games with the ECHL's Mississippi Sea Wolves this season, recording 34 points (17-17=34) and 86 penalty minutes. Lisabeth has collected 110 points (54-56=110) and 335 penalty minutes in 184 career games with the Sea Wolves over the last three seasons.

The Monarchs are in Lowell to face the Lock Monsters on Friday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. After that, their scheduled to face the Portland Pirates at the Cumberland County Civic Center on Saturday, March 6 at 2:05 p.m. The Monarchs return home on Wednesday, March 10 to host the Springfield Falcons at 7:05 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
