
Monarchs Announce Clear Day Roster; Host Wolf Pack Friday

MANCHESTER, NH â The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, on Friday announced their Clear Day Roster, which consists of 22 players.
Only those players listed on the Monarchs Clear Day Roster are eligible to compete in the remaining four weeks of the AHL regular season and in the 2005 Calder Cup playoffs, unless emergency conditions arise as a result of recall, injury or suspension. Teams may also add signed junior players or players on amateur tryout contracts, only after their respective junior or college seasons are complete. The Monarchs Clear Day Roster includes:
Goaltenders Mathieu Garon and Adam Hauser; Defenseman Tim Gleason, Denis Grebeshkov, Jason Holland (veteran), Doug Nolan, Joe Rullier and Mike Weaver (veteran); Forwards Dustin Brown, Michael Cammalleri, Noah Clarke, Ryan Flinn, Jeff Giuliano, Petr Kanko, Tom Kostopoulos (veteran), Yanick Lehoux, George Parros, Matt Ryan, Chris Schmidt (veteran), Brad Smyth (exempt), David Steckel and Dan Welch.
The following players are In Residence, which means they are eligible to play in the event of injuries and suspensions to the above players. The In Residence players include: Defenseman Beau Geisler and forwards Greg Hogeboom, Ryan Kinasewich and Jeff Miles.
The Monarchs will look to solidify their hold on the top spot in the American Hockey League's Atlantic Division when they host the second place Hartford Wolf Pack on Friday, March 18 at 7:35 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena. Single seats in the Gold level and 1,100 seats in the Silver level remain for Friday's game against the Wolf Pack.
