Mike Morrison has a 1.73 goals-against average in 14 appearances with the Road Runners this season, but just a 2-5-5 record to show for it... Edmonton closes out its grueling road stretch back at Van Andel Arena on Sunday.
Manchester hosts Hartford on Friday night as the top two teams in the Eastern Conference go head-to-head for the seventh time this season... The Monarchs hold a two-point lead over the Wolf Pack in the Atlantic Division, and have won four of five since a 4-2 loss to the Wolf Pack on Mar. 2... Manchester's Mike Cammalleri needs 10 goals in his last 16 games to become the AHL's first 50-goal scorer since current teammate Brad Smyth (2000-01)... Hartford's Steve Valiquette leads the AHL with a 1.76 GAA on the season, but has allowed eight goals in 77 minutes of work (6.22 GAA) against the Monarchs this year.
Hershey's playoff aspirations could hang in the balance as the Bears pay a visit to Binghamton on Friday and host Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Sunday... Hershey enters the weekend seven points out of the postseason picture in the East Division, with seven of their final 15 games against the Senators (two) and Penguins (five)...
