Tonight, the Niagara IceDogs were back on the road, playing their third game of the week. The Dogs faced off against the Mississauga Steelheads for the second time this season.
The first period saw a steady start, but not many scoring chances. However, IceDogs defender Alec Leonard was able to bury his first career OHL goal late in the period!
After 20 minutes of play, the score sat at 1-0 in favour of the IceDogs.
The second period saw some exciting play, but neither team was able to get a point on the board.
After 40 minutes, the score remained 1-0 Dogs.
The Steelheads were able to make a huge comeback in the third period, scoring all four of their goals in the final period. This led to Mississauga taking the win 4-1.
